Welcome to Babson Park Movers! These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of our moving services and the relationship between you (the “Customer”) and Babson Park Movers (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking our services or using our website, you agree to abide by these terms. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Scope of Services

Babson Park Movers offers moving services that include, but are not limited to:

  • Local Moving
  • Long-Distance Moving
  • Residential Moving
  • Commercial Moving
  • Moving and Storage Services

These services will be provided in accordance with the details outlined in your service agreement or quote. Additional services or variations from the original scope must be agreed upon in writing.

2. Booking and Confirmation

  • Booking: You may book our services by calling our customer service team, filling out our online form, or emailing us directly. Once we receive your request, we will confirm availability and provide a written estimate or final quote for your move.

  • Confirmation: A move is confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation from Babson Park Movers via email or phone, and all payments, including any deposits, are processed.

  • Changes to Booking: Any changes to the move date, time, or service details must be communicated and agreed upon in writing. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if changes result in additional services or logistical needs.

3. Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking, as indicated in your estimate or quote.

  • Final Payment: The final payment for services rendered is due upon completion of the move, unless otherwise agreed. Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, cash, or other payment methods as accepted by Babson Park Movers.

  • Additional Charges: If additional services are required beyond the original scope of work (e.g., extra moving labor, storage fees, additional packing), additional charges may apply. These will be discussed and agreed upon before the work is carried out.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate information regarding your move, including but not limited to the size of your property, the number of items being moved, and any special requirements (such as handling fragile or valuable items).

  • Access to Property: You are responsible for ensuring that proper access is provided for our moving team, including parking, elevator use, and any restrictions regarding the pick-up or delivery location.

  • Preparation: The Customer is responsible for packing and preparing personal belongings for the move. We can assist with packing services for an additional fee.

  • Valuable and Fragile Items: We recommend that customers pack or arrange for the special handling of valuables, fragile items, and any perishable goods. Our liability for damage to fragile or valuable items may be limited unless prior arrangements are made for special handling.

5. Liability and Insurance

  • Liability: Babson Park Movers will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of your items during transport. However, we are not liable for damage caused by improper packing, the Customer’s failure to properly prepare items for transport, or acts of nature (e.g., storms, flooding).

  • Insurance: We provide basic liability coverage as required by law. Additional insurance options may be available, and we strongly encourage customers to purchase additional coverage if needed.

  • Damage Claims: In the unlikely event of damage to your property, you must report the damage to us within 48 hours of the move. Claims will be assessed based on the nature of the damage and the terms of our insurance policy.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations: If you cancel your move more than 72 hours before the scheduled date, you may receive a refund of any deposits paid, minus any cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the move date will not be eligible for a refund of deposits.

  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule your move with at least 48 hours’ notice. Rescheduling may result in price adjustments depending on availability and the new date selected.

7. Late or Delayed Delivery

While we make every effort to complete moves as scheduled, delays may occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, such as road conditions, weather, or mechanical issues. Babson Park Movers will notify you as soon as possible in case of any delays, but we are not liable for any inconvenience or loss caused by such delays.

8. Prohibited Items

Babson Park Movers will not move the following items:

  • Hazardous materials (e.g., gasoline, propane, flammable liquids)
  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, plants)
  • Animals or pets
  • Illegal items
  • Firearms or weapons
  • Combustible or explosive materials

If you need to transport any of these items, please arrange for specialized moving services, as we are not equipped or licensed to handle such goods.

9. Customer Disputes

In the event of any disputes, we encourage you to contact our customer service team immediately so we can work towards a resolution. If the issue remains unresolved, disputes may be handled through mediation or legal means, depending on the nature and severity of the dispute.

10. Privacy Policy

Babson Park Movers respects your privacy. We will only use the information provided during the booking process for the purposes of providing our services and communication related to your move. We will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

11. Indemnity

The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Babson Park Movers, its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, or liability arising from their actions or negligence during the move, including injury, property damage, or loss.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflicts of law principles.

13. Amendments

Babson Park Movers reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes to this Agreement will be posted on our website, and the updated date will be noted at the top of this page.
